What I collect and how I use it
This page explains what information Nihar Photography collects through niharphotography.com, why, and what happens to it. In short: I collect only what you choose to send me about your wedding, I use it to reply and to plan your coverage, and I never sell it.
What I collect
Inquiry form. When you send an inquiry, the form collects your name, your partner's name, your phone number, your email address, your event date and location, your approximate guest count, the type of event, an optional budget, how you found me, and your message.
Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site. It does not give me your name or contact details.
Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard technical logs such as IP address and request time to run and protect the site.
How I use it
- To reply to your inquiry and check availability for your date
- To plan and deliver your photography if we work together
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so I can improve it
I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Inquiry form submissions are delivered to my business email and recorded in a private Google Sheet through Google Apps Script. Analytics data is processed by Google. These services keep the information under their own security and privacy terms.
Your choices
You can ask me to see, correct, or delete the information you sent through the inquiry form by emailing niharweddings@gmail.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.
